Pilates can improve strength, flexibility, posture, balance, and coordination. It can also help reduce stress and tension, alleviate back pain, and improve overall body awareness.
We offer a variety of classes to suit everybody. These include mat Pilates, Pilates with equipment, speciality classes like postnatal Pilates and Reformer. Our Yoga classes range from Slow Yoga, Hatha, Balance, Animal Flow and Yogalates; a blend of Yoga & Pilates together. For those wanting to add in a bit more high intensity within their routine, we also have Core Body Burn and Body Conditioning on offer.
Absolutely! Our classes are suitable for all abilities, including those new to reformer. All our instructors are experienced in supporting you throughout your session, and will offer various options to suit your level.
Anything you're comfortable in! For Pilates, it's best to avoid anything loose, so our instructors can gauge your alignment and technique accurately. We also recommend wearing grippy socks for both mat and reformer Pilates classes. These are available to purchase via our shop or in person at the studio
We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before your class is due to start, so you have time to settle in and get set up.
We are right in the centre of town, with lots of options for parking. Waitrose car park is free for 2 hours and is only a short distance away! Alternatively, there are 4 other pay-and-display car parks, all within minutes of the studio.
Yes! All our class passes and memberships are valid at the CB Pilates Studio in East Grinstead and Caz's classes at Starborough Manor, in Marsh Green (2 mins from Dormansland).
Cancellations can be made up to 12 hours before the start of your class without losing your credit, and 24 hours for reformer classes. Any cancellations made after that, or no-shows on the day, will still be charged. Please let us know with as much notice as possible so we can offer spaces to the waiting list.
